Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Clean Green Turf Company collects, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal language, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

1. Who we are

Clean Green Turf Company (Clean Green Turf Cleaning LLC, doing business as Clean Green Turf Company) provides artificial turf cleaning, deodorizing, and pet odor removal services in Mesa and the surrounding East Valley in Arizona. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean that company, and “you” means anyone who contacts us, requests a quote, or becomes a customer.

Our website is cleangreenaz.com. This policy covers that website and the services we provide at your home or business.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote your job, show up at the right place, do the work, and get paid.

Information you give us

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• The service address, and any access details you choose to share — gate codes, which gate to use, where dogs are kept
• Details about the job: the approximate size of the turf area, how many pets use it, and anything you tell us about the yard
• Notes and preferences you ask us to remember, such as sensitivities to particular products
• Anything you write to us in a text, email, or web form

Information we collect automatically

• Basic website analytics: pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, what kind of device was used, and how visitors found us
• Service records: dates we visited, what was done, and what was charged

We do not collect Social Security numbers, and we do not ask for or store your card number ourselves — see Payments.

3. How we use it

• To give you a price and schedule your service
• To send you information about your appointments — confirmations, reminders, when the crew is on the way, and when the job is done
• To do the work correctly, including honoring the notes and preferences on file for your property
• To invoice you and process payment
• To answer your questions and handle any problem with the work
• To keep basic business records, and to meet our tax and legal obligations
• If — and only if — you have separately agreed to it, to send you occasional offers

We do not use your information to build a profile of you, and we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. Text messages and your phone number

Two different kinds of message, and two different permissions

Service messages. When you book a job and give us your mobile number, we will text you about that job — a confirmation, a reminder the day before, a note when the crew is on the way, and a note when the work is finished. These are part of the service you asked for.

Promotional messages. We will only send you offers or promotions by text if you separately and affirmatively opt in by ticking a box that is dedicated to that purpose. That box is never ticked for you in advance, it is never bundled with an email signup, and agreeing to it is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (480) 779-8446. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Please note that replying STOP stops all texts from us, including appointment reminders and on-the-way notices. Only you can restart them.

5. Photos of your property

We often photograph a yard before and after we work on it. We do this for two reasons: to keep a record of the condition of the property, and — where you allow it — to show the quality of our work.

• Photos taken for our own records are kept internally and are not published.
• We will not publish a photograph of your property in our marketing, on our website, or on social media without your permission.
• If you do give permission, we will not include your house number, street sign, or anything else that identifies your address, and you can ask us to take a published photo down at any time by contacting us.
• We do not photograph people, children, or the inside of any building.

6. Who we share it with

We share your information only with companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do their part. Those are:

• Our phone and text messaging provider, so we can call and text you
• Our scheduling and business tools, which hold your appointment details
• Our payment processor, which handles your card securely
• Our accountant and, if it ever became necessary, our attorney

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if we are legally obliged to respond to a valid request from a public authority, or if it is necessary to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.

7. Payments

Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Your full card number is entered directly with them and is never stored on our systems. We keep only what we need for our records: the amount, the date, and the last four digits of the card.

8. Website and cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand, in aggregate, how people use it. We use this to fix problems and improve pages, not to follow you around the internet.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when one is set. Parts of the site may not work properly if you do. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal, we honor it.

If you fill in a quote form, the details you enter come to us so we can respond. A price estimate calculated on our website is an estimate, not a binding quote.

9. How long we keep it

We keep customer and job records for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as we need them for our business and tax records — generally seven years. Quote requests that never become jobs are kept for a shorter period and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see below.

10. Your choices and your rights

You can, at any time:

• Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask for a copy
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep
• Withdraw permission for promotional messages, or for the use of a photo of your property
• Stop all texts by replying STOP

Just contact us using the details below and we will take care of it. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

11. Children

Our services are sold to adults, and our website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who on our team can see it and using reputable providers who encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but if a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear rather than quietly editing the text.
